Overview
At Cliq24, we respect your right to privacy and data control. You can request deletion of
your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to delete your data
and what happens when you do.
⚠️ Important Notice
Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Method 1: Delete Your Account Through the App
Follow these steps to delete your account directly from Cliq24:
- Log in to your Cliq24 account at http://localhost:8080
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
- Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings page
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears
- Your account and all data will be scheduled for deletion
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you prefer, you can request account deletion by contacting us directly:
- Send an email to privacy@cliq24.app
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your Cliq24 account
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
- We will process your request within 5 business days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Your name, email, and profile picture
- Authentication Data: Google OAuth credentials and JWT tokens
- Connected Accounts: All connected social media accounts and access tokens
- Uploaded Files: Any custom profile pictures you uploaded
- Activity Data: All metrics, syncs, and usage history
- Settings: All preferences and configurations
ℹ️ Data Retention
Your data will be completely removed from our servers within 30 days of your deletion request.
During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible.
Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes
(e.g., financial records, abuse prevention).
What Happens to Third-Party Connections?
When you delete your Cliq24 account:
- All connections to social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) will be removed
- Cliq24 will no longer have access to your social media accounts
- You may need to manually revoke Cliq24's permissions in each platform's settings
- No data will be deleted from your actual social media accounts
Revoking App Permissions
To ensure Cliq24 no longer has access to your social media accounts, revoke permissions:
For Google:
- Go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find "Cliq24" in the list
- Click "Remove Access"
For Facebook:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find "Cliq24" in the list
- Click "Remove"
Can I Recover My Account After Deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your data is deleted,
it cannot be recovered. If you want to use Cliq24 again in the future, you will need to create
a new account from scratch.
Your Rights Under GDPR/CCPA
Under data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to:
- Request a copy of your data (data portability)
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
- Object to processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
